3ds max, Photoshop
April 2006

A nice moody noon in the old, ruined study/library

First I drew something like 4-6 different thumbnails on paper (woah!) trying to find the best viewpoint and most balanced perspective/composition. In 3dsmax I started off by modeling and rendering a rough wire model to have something to start with. A few basic shapes/objects and a couple renderpasses for rough indicating light, wire for perspective and an alpha mask for the odd spheresystem in the middle. Colouring, painting etc. was done in Photoshop, not that much any interesting to tell about it. Took about three days (4-6h a day) for me to finish this.

ALL c&c welcome, tough mostly I'd like to hear about the values and color balance of this one and how to improve it.
